GELSTAN Models

GELSTAN 1612

A complete gel documentation system with 1.92 MP Monochrome CCD camera, and various other important features. 1612 is the most recommended series for researchers using multiple fluorophores. The system is used when the emitted light by the fluorophore is of low intensity. GELSTAN is being offered along with various illumination modes to complement the system.

GELSTAN 1312

1.4 MP CCD Camera is the widely used resolution offered by most players in the industry and been recognised as the standard. The 1312 series is offered using two different cameras, one with the low cost and low speed USB camera and the other is the fire wire camera, which is of higher speed and reasonable cost. It’s very economical and versatile compared to other players in the market. Highly customisable and suits many dyes and its applications.

GELSTAN 1012

GELSTAN 1012 is a good solution for low cost gel documentation system. Its 0.8 Mega pixel camera is a good choice for entry level research. The same fire wire interface of the camera coupled with seamless clarity makes sure that the camera falls into upper class configuration.

GELSTAN Digi

Gelstan is not recommended strictly for researchers. It consists of digital camera, but not a scientific CCD camera. Not suited to use for extremely low light applications, but still exists as a model for the simple reason that it is sleek, and simple to build. It cannot be upgradeable.
